Flagpole Hoists

By law, US flags need to be either illuminated at dusk or be lowered. There are other instances when the flag needs to be lowered.

PAC has developed and installed a hoist specifically designed for raising and lowering of the flag.

PAC model 0204-01 flagpole hoist is designed to fit inside the base of the flagpole itself. A sheet metal shroud is provided to conceal and protect the hoist. Key operated controls are flush mounted on the shroud.

An option is available to tie the controls to the photo sensor, to lower the flag at the dusk automatically.
