ROTARY LIMIT SWITCH - MODEL #589W
The Model #589W is a four-element rotating shaft limit switch intended for use on equipment where the machinery movement can be translated into a number of turns on a shaft.
The limit switch senses limits of travel and overtravel in either direction and automatically interrupts the motor control power when the equipment has reached the predetermined settings. Applications include hoists, movable tables, screw lifts, and linear positioning systems.

| Two modes of adjustment:
- Adjusting wheels have 36 positions per turn providing a resolution of one part in 70x36=2520.
- Switches are track-mounted and can be set screw relocated to provide infinite resolution and then locked with two locking screws. This allows any chosen difference to be set between limit and overtravel trips.

| Four SPDT snap-action switches:
- Switch Rating: 0.1 amps. Gold contacts. 125/250 VAC.
- Switches are Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. listed and CSA approved.
- Switches are supplied prewired with 18 inch long #18 AWG red wires.

| Input Shaft:
3/8 inch diameter, 1-1/2 long with 1-1/4 inch long keyway for 3/32 inch square key.

| Output Shaft:
1/4 inch diameter, 5/8 inch long, can be used to drive potentiometer or similar device.

| Can be supplied with:
9 tooth S43 chain sprocket to fit input shaft with key, Peter Albrecht Company, Inc. Part No. 283X.

enclosure (12 inches x 8 inches x 4 inches).
