Peter Albrecht's Pile-On Chandelier Hoists are industrial-grade, motorized hoist systems designed to safely raise, lower and suspend chandeliers. Pile-on hoists are sometimes referred to as yo-yo hoists because cable winds on top of itself in the drum. They are most commonly used for chandeliers but work well for other applications that do not require grooved drum machines.

PAC Pile-On Hoists come complete with the drive assembly, drum, mounting frame, reversing starter, fused disconnect and 4-element limit switch. Hoists are equipped with a rotation resistant steel cable to minimize chandelier rotation when lifting. Optional cable reels can be orderd to meet most electical requirements and allow the chandelier to remain lit at any height.
